Product works great and was easy to install and integrated into my home. I bought two Explorer 5000's and a Smart Transfer Switch and didn't realize the cable that connects them comes with the switch and only comes with one, then found out they didn't have any available to order online yet. I reached out asking if I could somehow buy one anyways to complete my set up and they responded in less than 12 hours that they would ship one out to me free of charge! Only complaint so far is the system works too well as a back-up and TOU reduction system and now I want to be able to go semi-off-grid so will need to buy additional batteries when I have more money!

This is my second unit from Jackery. Love them. I bought the 5000 plus for backup for the coming storm season here in Houston. Mainly to run the refrigerator. The great sale and stackable coupon sealed the deal.

I can load at 4000w with 10 panels, I got 7500w out, charging car. It consumes a lot by itself I guess around 100w. Errors will switch off ac outlet . This one will NOT work with ground neutral bond. You will get f6 errors. Also does not need it as 14/50 plug works without. Customer Service is outstanding in fact probably the best I ever had. Fast and helpful.

Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus

I received the Explorer 5000 Plus solar generator to use to run my home if power goes out. It works great and will run my whole home if power goes out. I also ordered the Smart Switch that did not work and I returned it.

This is the most powerful solar generator we have had.

Awesome back-up unit. The wheels are pretty good. Took almost a week to charge the inverter and battery pack via the two Solar Saga panels but we've got poor solar exposure, especially in the winter. The controls are good and the LCD screen is informative. 3 hours of home theater use (roughly 130 watts/hour) consumes about 10-15% of the inverter's charge. Everyone wants more power, but batteries are heavy and this unit seems like a good compromise between weight and capacity. I have not tried to start our 240V 1HP submersible pump, but the Jackery should be capable. If you're thinking of using this as emergency backup or portable power, I would strongly suggest investing in several big solar panels and wiring them so you can use the Hi-Voltage Solar input. The two portable panels are nice to have but won't keep up with your home loads unless/even if you trim everything to the bone.

Great savings as purchased during promotion. Quick arrival. Installation was easy. Able to use within 2 days of arrival. Solid system. Panels are easy to install with clips to siding and roof tiles. Cons- Jackery does not give access to technical support, just customer support. It made it difficult to fully understand the charging capabilities of the system. Most of our neighbors have loud backup generators that give off fumes so they must be run outside. Not this system. It is silent and powers inside automatically!

A really great deal. Unfortunately it was incompatible with my existing home solar inverter. It is eligible for tax rebate and some other incentives.

This is a great product. I am very satisfied. The smartphone app is very useful for monitoring and setting values in the system.

I have owned 2 Jackery units for five years now.
I own a Jackery 250, Jackery 1000. Both have been very reliable, I've had no issues with either unit in over 5 years! I recently purchased Solar Generator 5000.
It��s very well built, it is very capable of providing power at each plug whether individual outlets or all at once.
Be aware if you activate the Bluetooth and then the WiFi it will drain the unit slowly due to having the WiFi on even if you don��t use the unit. The instructions for the main battery unit is clear and informative.
The software is VERY BASIC, it does allow access to all functions of the unit. It shows inputs and outputs of everything. I have found it to be slow at updating the information...I have read some review that they have to log off the app then log back in for updated input/output numbers������for me it was just slow to keep update info, but it does if you wait a few minutes. I will come back in a few months to update the review as I will have put this unit through its paces...As far as customer service I've used the email option and have received reply's promptly...The price and features are competitive with other companies. I can recommend.

He had been skeptical about the Jackery from the start, but since we won the Jackery 5000 Plus and Jackery Smart Switch as part of Jackery's Powering 50 Homes Project,he was supportive of my interest in having a home battery backup system.

To be honest,after the initial excitement of installation about a month ago,we barely gave it another thought.It just sat there,silently doing its thing...until last night.

A neighbor texted us,asking if we had heard "that big noise." We hadn't heard anything and texted back,trying to figure out what was going on.Turns out,a transformer had blown 15 minutes earlier,leaving the neighborhood in total darkness��except for us.

With the Jackery 5000 Plus and Automatic Transfer Switch,we hadn't even noticed the power outage.Our lights,TV,and internet��all on circuits wired into the Smart Switch��continued running seamlessly.While the rest of the street scrambled for flashlights,we carried on as if nothing had happened.

Now,I've got to hand it to Jackery too!It��s the kind of system you don't have to think about��until you realize how much you rely on it. And the best part? I no longer have to justify getting another Jackery 5000 to expand our setup and include some 'non-essential' but life-improving circuits...like the dishwasher.

It was delivered and it was everything they promised, great quality, I just ordered a extra Battery and will order more products later.

the product itself is great although i wish the battery was heated,take note it will not recharge below 0 degrees,but it will discharge just fine,i asked for a return and customer service was prompt to get me a prepaid label,meanwhile when i returned an anker solix f3800 a few months back,i had to pay $250 to ship it back,then it took a month and a half to get my refund with about 20 phone calls and emails,being ignored and told i was refunded already when i wasnt.

Haven’t had the need to use yet, but hopefully will work fine for my needs. We have a bunch of outages due to weather/limbs!
