I already have a bigger solar setup but this Jackery Solar Generator is another great source of energy for recharging our smaller generators, rechargeable lights, cell phones, laptop...endless small technology. Thank you for this opportunity..

Just got my Jackery but loving it so far. Charges well, holds power until needed and charges all my devices with out issue. Haven’t used the solar panels yet so no comment other than they appear to be well made.

This is our 3rd Jackery and they are always flawless.

saw the Jackery 1000 and 2 solar panel deal for $899. and thought I would get it. Limited time window made it hard to get the new one and send back my old 500 series for the trade in rebate. customer service worked with me to credit the old one value back to me even after the promotion time ended. This is so much better than my gas powered generator. This product bis awesome.

I recently had a long outage (8+ hrs) and w/o power not internet or lights. I bought this generator to be able to keep my internet up and some lights, and possible drain it to get refrigerator going. I charged it up over a week ago and see still 100% which is great.

We got the 1000 watt station. It’s well made, easy to set up and easy to use. Very pleased with it so far!

This is a great solar generator with 2 solar panels - I received the generator first and then a day later received the solar panels - these are a great option to keeping things powered while you are waiting for the power to come back on - Recommend this product to everyone.

This works as designed. Great power and also solar option works great! Also a car charger attachment works good too! Very pleased with this purchase!!!!

Purchased the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 on Prime Day at a great price ($750 off!), making it exceptional value. Jackery pricing is all over the place, so watch for specials. At full retail, it would not be good value.

It's convenient for powering many items away from outlets, such as a 120V hedge trimmer or leaf blower without needing long extension cords. It can power a domestic refrigerator and small electronics to see us through outages. And it's good for camping, keeping a small portable refrigerator cold and phones, tablets and lights powered.

A significant downside is that the maximum charging input wattage of the Explorer 1000 is 126W(12~30V,7.5~8.33A ). It'll take 7 to 8 hours to recharge it from a wall outlet or solar panels, so you can't do a quick recharge while traveling or from a gasoline generator, for example.

Also, the USB-C port is limited to a miserly 18 watts - enough for a tablet, but not to power a laptop.

If you're OK with those limitations, go for it. If not, consider spending more on the newer 'Pro' version or a competitor for much faster wall outlet charging and USB-C capabilities.

We used this unit to camp at several different locations. It was mostly used to power our 12V fridge/cooler. The solar panels work well, even in low light or cloudy days. I was a little surprised at it keeping charged with the fridge without any issue. Mostly stayed at 100%. I've not really pushed the unit very hard but I get a feeling it would do well for more demanding loads. Only issue is that the two 100 watt panels never put out full power. Most I got was 120W. An email to Jackery came back with the response that that was normal. Not sure I buy that but what can you do. Still works great and I would recommend.

I wanted to rewrite my review since I've got more time with it. I live in the woods 6 months out of the year during the winter season and I'm off most of that. I got my hot tent and other toys but this things a game changer. It powers or charges my laptop, cellphone, lanterns, smaller charge packs. It also keeps up well with my 4 18v batteries for my power tools I don't use often but I got the option now. I've yet to see how well it handles a cloudy day. I got a gas generator in case it fails to on that day, I'll report back after a few cloudy days.

Purchased this to use in our cabin in the woods that has no power. Eventually we will install solar panels on the roof, but in the mean time I just charge the Jackery at home and take it with me. It is not too heavy, I can carry it by its handle with no difficulty. At full charge I can run our internet satellite dish (for internet and phone service; there is no cell service) for about 10 hours, and also charge my phone, Apple watch, and iPad, before the charge level is down to 20%. The directions recommend recharging the battery once the charge is at 20% or lower. There are several USB and USB-c charging ports, as well as 3 3-prong outlets. In our late summer, Northern latitude (Northern Vermont) location the 2 100-W solar panels produces up to about 125-135 watts in full sun (I'm sure it would be higher in locations with stronger sun). This recharges the battery in 7-8 hours. I usually just partially recharge the battery once or twice during the days I'm at the cabin when it is sunny, to make it last at least several hours each day during the long weekend that I'm there. Then I take it back home and fully recharge it to be ready for the next trip to the cabin. If I wanted to move the solar panels so they are in the bright sun all day, I wouldn't need to charge it at home. Aside from charging it using home electricity or the two solar panels, there are also cords to allow recharging using a cigarette-lighter type plug in your vehicle. You can also recharge it off of a generator, which we have done on longer trips if there isn't enough sun. I gave it only 4 stars for noise because it has a cooling fan that runs intermittently when in use; in the absolute silence of our cabin, that noise is more than I would like, but really is not bad, maybe as loud as a refrigerator, and MUCH quieter than a generator (which would be our other option). Overall, I am very glad I purchased this; it makes being at the cabin that much more enjoyable knowing that I have enough electric power to keep my electronics powered up, and run our internet satellite dish whenever I need it, all without the noise of a generator.

Charges verfast, even on Solar. The ports accommodate my needs. Size is perfect, not at all leave. Performs well and is attractive. I feel safe knowing I have this.

Bought the unit to power a computer system for outdoor craft shows. Despite its weight, it works perfectly and recharges relatively quickly via the solar panels if you chose to use them. This unit will serve many functions in power outages and shows.
